It’s girls’ night out in Mametville in Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Mamet’s Boston Marriage, a wickedly sharp drawing room comedy about two fashionable, upper-class women involved in a “Boston marriage,” a Victorian euphemism for a long-term, intimate relationship between two unmarried, financially independent women. Called “…one of the funniest American comedies in years,” by the New York Post, Boston Marriage is a wildly witty, biting satire about barely repressed desire, hostility between social classes, and decorous vulgarity.
