He brings his intense, expressive, and collaborative style to many projects around the Pacific Northwest, performing in a wide variety of styles and settings. He is particularly active in Seattle’s Yiddish and klezmer music community, performing with the klezmer brass band, Shpilkis, among other groups. Jimmy has been performing with Dragon Lady for seven years and Hot Damn Scandal for ten. In addition to performing, Jimmy organizes klezmer jam sessions, guest artist workshops, and festival programming with organizations including Seattle Yiddish Fest, Northwest Folklife, and The Rhapsody Project.
