GYOPO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 2017. It is a collective of diasporic Korean cultural producers and arts professionals generating and sharing progressive, critical, intersectional, and intergenerational discourses, community alliances, and free educational programs in Los Angeles and beyond. In addition to providing dedicated spaces for people of the Korean diaspora, GYOPO also serves as a hub of social, emotional, physical, and intellectual support for the wider AAPI community across LA County, California, and globally through in-person and virtual programs and events.
