Los Angeles families are invited to Geffen Playhouse to enjoy a free morning at the theater on Saturday, November 4, 2023! Parents, caregivers, and children will participate in storytelling activities with Geffen Playhouse teaching artists. This family literacy workshop is hosted by Geffen Playhouse and the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.

What makes a good story and what is storytelling? Spend the morning having fun while you create stories using your body, voice and imagination! Small groups will play games, build ideas, and explore storytelling activities. Everyone will have the opportunity at the end of the workshop to share on the stage.
