    Brian Dennehy as Erie Smith / Krapp

    Broadway credits include Desire Under the Elms, Inherit the Wind (with Christopher Plummer), Long Day’s Journey Into Night (Tony Award for Best Actor), Death of a Salesman (Tony Award for Best Actor) and Translations. Off-Broadway, he appeared in Richard Nelson’s Conversations in Tesculum at the Public Theater, The Cherry Orchard at Brooklyn Academy of Music and Says I Says He at Phoenix Theatre. At the Goodman Theatre, he appeared in Hughie, Krapp’s Last Tape, Desire Under the Elms, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, A Touch of the Poet, The Iceman Cometh and Galileo. Regionally, he appeared in Endgame at Long Wharf Theatre, Twelfth Night, The Homecoming, All’s Well That Ends Well, Hughie and Krapp’s Last Tape at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and Rat in the Skull at Wisdom Bridge Theatre. He appeared in London’s West End in Death of a Salesman (Olivier Award for Best Actor). Recent film appearances include The Seagull opposite Annette Bening and Tag with Jon Hamm and Isla Fisher. Recent television appearances include Hap and Leonard and NBC’s Blacklist. Mr. Dennehy was inducted into the American Theatre Hall of Fame in 2010.

    Joe Grifasi as Night Clerk (11/5-11/25)

    Most recently Endgame at Long Wharf Theatre, Julie Taymor’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the Encores! revival of Little Shop of Horrors. Broadway shows include The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Dinner at Eight, Accidental Death of an Anarchist and Happy End by Bertolt Brecht, Elisabeth Hauptmann and Kurt Weill. Off-Broadway: The Boys Next Door (Drama Desk Award), Says I Says He and Golden Boy. Other credits: Once in a Lifetime and Room Service (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Suicide in B Flat and Are You Now or Have You Ever Been (Yale Repertory Theatre). Directing credits include One Slight Hitch by Lewis Black, A Cup of Coffee by Preston Sturges and As I Remember It (Wallis Annenberg Center). Joe has appeared in over fifty feature films including The Deer Hunter, Presumed Innocent, The Naked Gun, Benny & Joon, Matewan, FX and Natural Born Killers. Television appearances include Lodge 49, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Bull, The Good Wife and Law & Order.

    Highly-regarded actor and B.F.A. professor for Shakespeare at USC. Broadway: Joe Papp’s Three Penny Opera, Circle-in-the-Square’s St. Joan, Richard Rodgers’ I Remember Mama and George Abbott’s Broadway. Regional theater credits include Lear’s Fool, Marius in Fugard’s Road to Mecca and the blind Irishman in Conor McPherson’s The Seafarer for which he won the San Diego Critics Circle Award for Best Actor (San Diego Repertory Theater); Richard III, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Merry Wives of Windsor (San Diego Old Globe); Henry V (American Shakespeare Festival); Hoagy, Bix, Wolfgang Beethoven Bunkhouse (Indiana Repertory Theatre); Three Penny Opera, Camille, Wild Oats and just last year Fool in King Lear (Guthrie Theatre). Los Angeles theater: Discord at the Geffen Playhouse and recently Three Days in the Country at Antaeus Theatre Company. Television: 80 guest star roles including Quark on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Happily married to Kitty Swink for over 35 years—unquestionably his greatest achievement.
